Hi Kate, Have you already been in the cathedral in the background of this picture? If not I definitely recommend it. This cathedral is magnificent inside. As far as I remember mosaic on the walls is one of the largest mosaic adornment in the whole world. Actually, you made absolutely right decision to move to Piter earlier.
Just seen your comment - yes we did see the Cathedral on the Spilled Blood - and you're right, it's magnificent. We did get quite ill in Moscow with the smoke - upset stomachs and general lethargy - so we were very relieved to get to the breezes of Piter.
