Back to the metro to the Technological Institute and a walk to the Trinity Cathedral. The deep-blue domes, covered in gold stars, are inspirational from a distance. Of all the cathedrals I saw today, I liked this one best, because of the beautiful Trinity iconostasis over the Royal Doors.
Kate, i actually agree. That's my favourite as well. Do you know that its dome has now a slightly different shape than it used to have before the fire in 2006? That fire was extremely devastating when the main dome, part of collonade, and smaller domes perished in the blaze...
